A friend currently living in Cooperstown reported yesterday: "….Last week they moved the steam locomotive which was sitting at the old train station here in town. It was quite the scene watching them load it onto a truck, and then the truck broke down on Main Street (it had gotten only about 50 feet before dying). But anyway, it finally left and the story around town is that "a railroad museum in Pennsylvania bought it for $30,000".

Does anybody know where the ex-U.S. Army 0-6-0 was heading?

Does anyone know what kind of mechanical shape she was in? If someone knows where she is going do we know if the new owner has plans for her?

"a railroad museum in Pennsylvania bought it for $30,000".

Oh don't keep a fool in suspense, what's the destination.

I believe this engine was purchased by the private collector in western Maryland who previously bought the Army 2-8-0 from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.
