I see no information relating to a trolley being on the ground. I hope when the rain ceases the little trolley that could will be full steam ahead and back on track!! |

It looks like the reporter used the term "derailed" to show familiarity with rail operations. For a really bad example of reporting, find "Mystery Train in Cape May County" on the NJ forum on Railroad.net. CMSL had some beat up C&D cars in storage, and moved them around to knock the rust off the rails and clear out some overhanging brush, just prior to running some passenger trains into Cape May City. A completely out of touch reporter turned a simple move into a matter of Homeland Security, brought up the right of the railroad to make movements its own tracks, and rolled a Halloween mystery into the same article. She made the proverbial mountain out of a molehill. At least she didn't say the "choo-choo blew it's whistle". But what is a coal hod, and was the lineman climbing poles? |
