For those who haven't seen it elsewhere, Cliff Grandt, of California's Grandt Line model railroad products has died within the last day or two. He was 89. He was noted as a precision diemaker, who developed highly detailed plastic model parts and kits for narrow gauge modelers. He is also said to have cut the dies for the HO gauge SP 0-6-0 that Model Die Casting has sold for several decades in their Roundhouse line. The Grandt Line business will continue under his son Robert.
