I've just purchased an N5 B cabin car and would like to know of any sources of information as I research this for restoration. It is on live rail and I will be able to use it once in a while. Thank you. Scott |

Scott, There is a Conrail Caboose Photo Archive web page by i think a Jim Hebner that has photo's of the different classes of Conrail cabooses wich does have some photo's of some N5B's.I presume you already know its a ex PRR caboose of wich those were built starting in 1941.What number is yours and do you have any photo's to post? Also i wish you well with your restoration! |

The number is 22797. From the web info it appears that it was PRR 477680 although I don't know how they determined that. I can't seem to get the file of the photo to attach. It says something like file was invalid. Anyone have thoughts on how to make it work. Scott |
