| Post subject: | Does your museum accept Cumulative Voting? |
This is a question for nonprofit membership organization museums out there. "Cumulative voting" http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... =325848821 is a voting system which lets a voter vote the same director more than once. If 4 directors are up for election, the guy can write in "Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Tom" and Jeff will be tallied three votes. "Regular voting" (as the SEC calls it) you can only vote once per director, so if you did "Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Tom", Jeff and Tom would each be counted one vote, assuming it did not invalidate the ballot somehow. Which does your nonprofit use? |
