The really cool machine is the mortiser shown at the end... that's not a hollow chisel; it's a solid chisel with a hooked end that just chops its way across the work. Considering the poor performance of some hollow chisels, I sometimes wonder if this isn't actually the better method.

Halfway through the film, it looks like the little engine's packing needs some attention.
