I just saw this on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/coolpixmaf/3065934128/ Does this still exist. I didn't know any PRR RS3's still lived on, although in pretty rough shape, or is this of a different heritage? |

There are some shots on the Railroadpicture archives site from March of this year It is apparently owned by the Anthracite Historical group and is supposedly a gutted hulk stripped of pretty much all usable parts |

I was told they tried to remove it in the late 90s but were unable to get it to budge even with an SD70MAC. I can't vouch for that personally though. Russ |

If they don't have 244 engines inside, they are not RS-3s. They may look like RS-3s, but they're really not. And, no you can't convince me otherwise. Howard P. Amplidyne, CT |

Amplidyne, CT What he says. As much as I love the CR RS3m (I wouldn't mind one being part of the CRHS's collection), they're two different beasts (with far different fabrics). |
