Nice to see it preserved ( would be nicer if it was indoors) That fence doesnt appear to be very vandal proof

You know, I'm not *sure* about this, but I do believe that this loco survives in the paint scheme that it does because the NYS&W took a pressure/power washer to this loco, and managed to inadvertently blast off a later, inferior aluminum paint job, revealing the original paint, which I then think was simply touched up and put back into service pending a better, full repaint/restoration!
