For some reason I never seem to be able to see Kelly's images, and given his narration accompanying them, it’s very frustrating to me. From the other comments on his other postings, I'm assuming others can. Do I have something set wrong in my browser or in RYPN? I have the same problem using Firefox as well as IE and I can see images in other posts such as the one I started on the American Locomotive Crane builders plate.

Kelly's imagess are linked from photobucket.com and do not actually reside on RYPN. Try opening this link and see what happens. If it is blocked, then that is you answer.

Yup, that's it. I didn't see any indication of a URL for the image so was confused. The machines at work here are blocked from a lot of sites like youtube, etc. Guess I can photobucket to the list. Need to remember to revisit this article from home.

Wow! 1 1/2" scale Hudson sitting on the same table as 765's safety valves, with the LIRR 39's wrapper sheet on the floor next to it! This shop can do it all!

Kelly- Can you elaborate on the hydraulic tracer attachment for wheel truing? I've seen a lot of wheel truing equipment but my knowledge is about 25 years out of date.

It's not uncommon for farm steam traction engines to be found with varmit nests in the cylinders. The ammonia etc. from their urine usually corrodes the cast iron such that these cylinders need bored and a liner. Everyone that has found a nest scratches his head for the "how" and "why".
