Post subject:  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

to all of you who are interested in preserving railroad information or hardware I want to send the Seasons Greetings.

May the coming year bring continued success to your projects be they large or small; they are all importamt.

To the many museums that have just given new homes to the Brookings collection; you deserve a special well done. I was sure that those cars were going to scrap!

I hope they serve long and well in their new homes. You can be sure I will look for them the next time I am in Maine, Connecticut, Illinois and all the other places that gave homes to those cars!
