Whatever happened to this locomotive?

I read that it is at the Illinois Railway Museum but I cannot find it on their roster.

I do not know anything specific about this Diesel; but perhaps it is
something that is in the works.

They have a CNW Diesel Rail Car that was in Boston and it took years to get it moved back to Union.

The photo caption at the original Railfan.net page claims the photo linked was taken at the IRM in 1984 and the loco was "used for parts"; the appearance of what appears to be a steam locomotive in the right background supports that contention.

I believe the 607 was sold to help pay for Wynadotte Terminal 103, another VO-660.
The YSTX engine was apparently in far worse shape than the 103. I do remember seeing the engine at IRM, but it was gone by August of 1986, when I started volunteering.
