Anyone here read Polish? This link was sent to me, without any explanation or comment. It appears to be a Polish auction site. The site has an "English" link, but I cannot find the locomotive page in the english section. It APPEARS to be an auction of a 2-10-0, but I don't read Polish so it may actually be something else, like a cab ride, or a picture postcard for all I know, but since there's a price of 17,000 Euros shown, I'm thinking it's the locomotive that's for sale. http://aukcje.wosp.org.pl/show_item.php?item=327981 |

For the record, what they're asking is just a few dollars under $25,000 as of this morning--$24,989 according to two online currency converters. Paging R.J. Corman and Jerry Jacobsen.......... and maybe the Western Maryland Scenic RR...... Ooops, "Locomotive can be used for display purposes only"..... damn...... |
