Many of you may remember Roger Rassche. I'm writing to let everyone know that he passed from this world this afternoon at 12:57pm at his home in Woodlawn. Memorial services will be later this week at Kleb-Naegle-Illendorf funeral home on Montgomery Road in the Norwood, specific date and time to follow.

He was a former CRRC member and knower of all things rail, both domestic and international. His interests weren't limited to rail, however. His knowledge and passion for automobiles, architecture, industry and, as he put it 'clanky-bits', was astounding. What's more, he could cross-reference all this data in his head, largely on the fly. I've never known anyone remotely like him and doubt I ever will again. It was my honor to call him friend.

Please remember he and his family in your prayers.

As Roger's friend and contact base inside and outside the community was so vast, no one of us has all of those lists. Please pass along to any and all who knew Roger and were lucky enough to call him friend as well.

I'm sorry but that info has been updated. What you posted is what I initially told everyone and Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf is the funeral home, but the correct location for the memorial is as follows:
