Imagine if you could go bac in time to the opening of one of the early steam preservation railways...... Strasburg.... Edaville..... Sierra... Arcade and Attica....

It's not shown on Internet Movie Database, but as I recall, the Bluebell Railway had a "cameo" in Ken Russell's Tommy in 1975, and has probably been in several other movies and PBS shows. In 1961, steam was still in general use on some British railway lines.
