A large quantity of Santa Fe documents, including drawings of buildings, etc., have been saved in Arizona. Unfortunately, a lot went to the dump before the remainder was rescued, but details can be found at the link below.

Of course, other Santa Fe documents have been preserved and others lost.

Corporate type records can be found at Kansas Historical Society. Mechanical type drawings, etc. are at California State RR Museum. The Railroad and Pioneer Museum in Temple, Texas, has drawings from that division headquarters.

The story at Temple is interesting. The Santa Fe gave them the depot and then the museum began making plans to make use of it. A man who had once worked in the building and came by and said that the old built-in drawing cabinet had had a sheetrock wall placed in front of it. With some trepidation they tore into the wall and found the drawing case complete with drawings.
