| Post subject: | Baltimore Streetcar Museum service temporarily suspended |
Account two large trees that came down atop the Baltimore Streetcar Museum's trackage and catenary yesterday, demolishing one pole and damaging three others, all service at the BSM (including, unfortunately, snowsweeper extras!) has been suspended pending repairs. Tomorrow evening's scheduled Baltimore Chapter NRHS meeting at the Museum's Visitors Center has been canceled account no parking available and no cleared walkways--what volunteers that could get to the BSM today (yours truly included) were busy with chainsaws instead. The BSM's ex-SEPTA PCC-overhead-work-car is outside the car barn and is possibly ready for duty, although it's likely the unpowered tower trailer may come out for duty first. |
