Post subject:  question on NH sw1200's

I found this on NERAIL http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=2010022611283425150.jpg&order=bydate&page=31&key=

CR sw1200 9380 is X-NH 657

my Question is why was a truck swap ordered on this switcher, or any other info as to why a modern truck assembly be swapped with the shown older design, I thought the new haven ordered these with the flexcoil because they could handle some of the new havens tighter curves and switches

any info would be helpful
trying to learn something here
