The Md. Rail Heritage Library at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum has come into a rather staggering donation, made by a retiring gentleman who was an Australian rail and traction enthusiast.

The MRHL committee has voted not to accept certain publications for want of space; therefore, we now have a substantial inventory of magazines available for transfer gratis to the proper institution. These include a rather large (but not quite complete) selection of Britain's Modern Tramway Magazine, as well as representative selections of the following magazines:

Catch Point (Australian National Ry. Museum/Ry. Hist. Society)
Newsrail (Victorian Division, Australian Ry. Historical Society--vaguely like RailPace)
Transit Australia (what it sounds like--nearly all rail)
Motive Power (locomotive-centric, with a touch of modeling)
Railway Digest (general purpose railfan magazine)

In addition, we have a fairly complete run of Extra 2200 South from late 1970's to 2002, and some Railpace Newsmagazine as well. If you desire specifics as to exactly what issues we have if each magazine, PM me and I'll run a more exact inventory.

We are wiling to let this collection transfer to ANY library or institution that would add it to their collection, F.O.B. Baltimore. The Library would be willing to make arrangements for shipping, at recipient's expense, or for collection or transfer as deemed appropriate. With an NRHS Convention approaching in Scranton, a hand-off could be arranged there to a willing driver. Please e-mail or PM me to offer a home for these publications.
