I've searched the airbrake books in my collection and the Internet and cannot find information on this valve. It is listed on the Rutland RS-3 equipment card and a close friend of mine would like to know what it was for. I think that the RS-3's had No. 6 brake.

Only four of the Rutland's RS-3's (205-208) were fitted with Automatic Train Stop by the NYC, so I "know" that it cannot be this.

Many Thanks!
