| Post subject: | LV 112 Repaint: Hold That Brush...... |
I got word of this through another party while I was driving through North Carolina on Monday...... It appears that Scott Kwiatkowski may be taking a detour en route to restoring his newly-acquired ex-Lehigh Valley SW1. His website confirms it: It's getting an interim paint job into PRR "DLGE" (something Locomotive Green Enamel), or one part green and 10/100/etc. parts black: http://www.prrllc.com/projects_LV%20112_paint.html It doesn't say so on his page, but the word I got was that it was being borrowed by a contract operator (possibly Juniata Terminal or SMS Services) to switch an oil refinery in the area (sounds like New Jersey along the South Jersey Light Rail at Paulsboro), and that a prep job and temporary coat of paint was part of the deal. Scott? Wanna answer my e-mail/voicemail? |
