Post subject:  More historic signage at IRM

Yesterday the latest neon sign to be restored by the Illinois Railway Museum's Buildings & Grounds Department was installed. This time it's the South Shore's sign from the Gary station. The sign was on display at IRM for years in an unrestored state, but last year was removed for professional rebuilding and replacement of the lights. Photos can be found at http://www.hickscarworks.blogspot.com and video showing the flashing lights in action can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSmgFzffBwY.
