Ah, the S-4 class. Several other survivors remain. One (1364) is undergoing restoration in Toppenish, near Yakima, Washington. 1356 is in Missoula, Montana. 1354 is in Pasco, Washington.

Even though originally built in the early 1900's, these lasted until the end of steam on the NP, I'm guessing because their light weight was easy on branch lines and the bridges on branch lines. They were popular with crews and would make a great engine for operation today.
