Remember the post a few years agao, regarding the Ecclesbourne Valley Railroad, of Wirksworth, Derbyshire, England? They were handed two steam locomotives that had been stored under old tarps at a factory, untouched since retirement, years back?

The first of those tank locos has been restored to operation, the second is coming.
This is the Youtube link. Please note the immaculate station and ROW. Ten years ago, this place was a flooded, overgrown, thicket of rotten ties and rusted rails left in place. The platforms were shambles, and there was not one piece of rolling stock. Discards from industrial plants, rail scrap yards, and members donations, plus one heck of a lot of sweat, has created this that you see here.

Thank you for sharing. I am in awe of what is being done over there.
