As I work my way through my current project of an all-time, on-line roster of Union Pacific steam locomotives, I'm becoming more and more fascinated by the pre-1900s UP 4-4-0s and 4-6-0s, and the similar locomotives of all of its predecessor roads. Is there a discussion group that focuses on that time period, and the early locomotive builders?

I just joined R&LHS. Does anyone care to share their thoughts on that organization?
