 Post subject: Museum in the Streets, A Teaching Opportunity

I just heard about this program and with a little research I found that the Minnesota Street Car Museum is fully involved in their local Museum in the Streets program. Here is one of the signs on Lake Street, Minneapolis:

To me it sounds like a perfect avenue for outreach from a museum's educational program by working with local communities to create a Museum in the Street that includes pictures and descriptions of current or former depots, freight houses, team tracks, yards, streets with streetcars or interurbans, etc.
