CN 5588 "Spirit of Windsor" is being taken cared of by the Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society of Windsor). Last year the locomotive had been cosmetically restored.

CN 5588's whistle was used on Pere Marquette 1225 for one of it's Polar Express trip. The following videos can be seen here:

Currently, the group is trying save a CN Caboose. CN #79713 was built in the same shops as CN 5588, but nearly 75 years later. SOLRS Windsor is looking for any donations and they offer a tax receipts.
