Post subject:  Kiddieland train going to Indiana museum

Note that the museum will not own the train. The owner has "lent" it. Ownership of museum exhibits can become sticky issues, so museums should proceed cautiously when entering into such an arrangement. I know one museum will not allow any rail equipment on its property unless the museum hold title to it. Another museum with which I'm familiar allows private cars on site only through a leasing arrangement.

Good legal counsel should guide museum policy on acquisitions

Hesston Steam Museum has a lot mix gauge equipment.
