An eye-witness visitor to Steamtown on May 2nd reported on the O-Gauge Forum that work on #3713 has stopped, and that the L&WV Chapter, NRHS is looking for a new contractor. Is Mike Tillger no longer working on #3713?

My calender says May 2nd was a Sunday, perhaps he took a day off for the weekend?

I finally got a reply from Norman Barret of the L&WV Chapter, NRHS. He confirms that Mike Tilger has resigned as full-time contractor on the #3713 project to accept a position with the Park Service. Mike will continue to volunteer some time on #3713, and direct other volunteers that might happen by. The Chapter is indeed looking for another contractor or contractors to keep the #3713 project going. So at the present time, the project is indeed pretty much stalled--though some parts are still out for fabrication.

Mike joining the NPS is great news for the park.
