Not sure of the condition, but $1,000 seems like a pretty good deal for a caboose, unless it was a total rust bucket. |

Confusing,,, They spent a goodly chunk of the last 18 months "cleaning house" and adding cabooses so they can run caboose trains,, and now they're selling off cabooses as well ?? |

According to the article they sold one (the one mentioned in the article) before having a change of heart and deciding to keep the rest for a caboose train. That's solely based on what the paper says, so it may or may not be accurate. |

Pity that East Troy didn't sell off their Green Bay interurban car for a thousand bucks rather than destroying it last year. |
