I was on the website for the Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad earlier tonight and noted that they featured the following locomotive at "no extra charge" on this schedule:

In June - Grand Trunk #1013

In July - Canadian National #915

In August and September - Canadian National #91

In October - Middletown & Hummelstown #91

Obviously, this is the same Mogul. Built originally at GT of Canada #1013, later CN #915 and then CN #91 and now M&H #91. This is rather an interesting idea. But does the M&H actually renumber and reletter the little 2-6-0 each time? If so, then visitors would be able to photograph 4 different locomotives on 4 different visits to the railroad! A novel way to try to improve visitation.

From their Twitter reply to me, asking the same thing - yes, they are going to re-paint the engine each time. It is only running one weekend per month in the summer, so they do have the time to do it between runs. :)
