Our museum has an on line sign up sheet that is managed by a volunteer. We are in need of a new system as the old one is "broken" and besides some of our volunteers could not use it depending on their browser that they were using. We are looking for a new program that we can use on line for our volunteers. One of our volunteers has found a program called volunteermatters. http://www.volunteermatters.com/vm/npo.jsp?pg=demo1 Has anyone here heard of this service? The price seems reasonable per year, but some us us at our museum were wondering if anyone had any inside information on how well the system works and how user friendly the system is. It's not very full featured, but I've had a lot of luck using the form capability of Google Docs embedded in the CRHS's site. Take a look at: http://thecrhs.org/events/Spring-2010-Rail-B-Que The even passed, but it still has the form up there. |

You might also want to look at using Volunteermatch. The base service is free, with a fee for additional bells and whistles. We use the free version at tmny.org. http://www.volunteermatch.org/ |
