| Post subject: | Machinery Cutaways Displayed as Art |
A while ago in a discussion we mentioned the cutaway 0-6-0 at Steamtown and several other cutaway locomotives in museums around the world. And we have occasionally mentioned the few cutaway diesel engines on display in museums. I am curious, how many of your organizations have ARTWORK cutaways or cross sections on display? These could be locomotives, components of locomotives, or rolling stock. I know of a few museums that have the EMD, ALCO, and GE maintenance wall posters on display, but how many of you use larger cutaways done as artwork either on canvas, masonite, plywood, or a wall?
