It looks like three foot gauge. Anyone know for sure?

Actually, looks to me like it's a regular Chance Rides C.P. Huntington train, which would be 2ft gauge. It's had a canopy installed over the engineer, but other than that, looks normal. They are standard in amusement parks, zoos, etc throughout North America, and are still in production down in Wichita, KS. They are a pretty reliable unit, as many of the original locos from the 60's are still in daily operation. The attached photo is of the C.P. Huntington at Puddicomb Farms near Winona Ontario. It originally ran at Crystal Beach Amusement Park near Fort Erie, Ontario until that park closed in 1989. It was privately owned, and ended up operating on a private 2 acre estate for 10yrs or so before going to the current owner. I spent hundreds of hours running & maintaining this engine & train when it was in private hands in Niagara Falls. Lots of fun time back then. Had a Ford industrial engine in it with kerosene providing the smoke. This was the 97th unit constructed, and carried that # until going to the current owner.

Yes, it is a CP Huntington ride; has a dogbone layout with snap switches that crosses a bridge across a lake to an island, makes the turnaround, and comes back.

Angelina County Lumber 2-8-2 #110 is stuffed and mounted at the Zoo; and looked great last time I saw it. The train passes by it on it's run.

Riding this train, and paying a visit to the Texas Forest Museum in Lufkin with its logging train display, is a great way to spend time in Lufkin. I don't know how much is left now of the engine facilities in Lufkin; there was a roundhouse there at one point.
