Post subject:  Authentic Erie Lackawanna Dinner

The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society in cooperation with André's Restaurant in Newton, NJ presents "Dinner in the Diner" on Sunday, April 21, 2002 at 5:00 pm. This four course meal has been carefully recreated from the great menus of both the Erie and the Lackawanna Railroads as they were served in the 1940's and 1950's.

MENU
Soups
Chicken and Vegetable Soup

Salad
Leaf Lettuce with Assorted Pickles and French Dressing

From the Grill
Young Chicken with Spicy Pears
Broiled Seabass with Tarter Sauce
Erie Lackawanna Grilled Special Steak with Bercy
Main Courses Served with Vegetable and Potato of the Day

Dessert
Green Apple Pie with French Vanilla Ice Cream
Coffee - Tea - Chocolates

Erie Lackawanna Mints

The proceeds from this dinner will be used in the restoration of the Society's Erie Lackawanna Dining Car 741.
