| Post subject: | CNR 6167 1960-64 Excursion Photos and Memorabilia |
Lately I have been thinking about setting up several pages on my site chronicling 6167's 4 years in excursion service, and was wondering if anyone has any photos or paper work (tickets, flyers, train orders etc.) they would be willing to share? I would also like to put together a timeline of all her trips. Thanks, Joe |

After scouring my archives, I've been able to gather information on a handful of CNR 6167's excursions. One gentleman was also kind enough to send me a scan of his ticket from an excursion. I have posted all the information I have in a new section of my website devoted to her excursions which can be found at: http://www.trainweb.org/j.dimech/6167/excursions.html So far I have written several short articles on trips that occured on July 10, 1960 (the first), May 20, 1962, September 21, 1963, and October 27, 1963. I notice that several trips were sponsored by the Buffalo and Rochester Chapters of the NRHS as well as the Michigan Railroad Club. So if anyone here has any photos, tickets, flyers, etc, and would be willing to share them, please send a me a message. Joe |
