This just shows how important it was to us moving the car 57 Pullman to Downtown Cheyenne, we have had so many happy stories of people growing up in and around the car in the 50's 60's and 70's and donations now too.........today of all the amazing coincidences a man came to look at the car and just happened to say that he had removed all the clerestory glass from a car in town 30 years ago and still had it....frames, hardware and all. This is the very 1/4 inch thick etched glass from the above Wagner 10 berth sleeper and drawing room car that i discovered in Cheyenne and identified last year. I cant wait to see what the frames tell us about the order number/origins or even builder of this mystery car. All this from moving the car downtown......its absolutely what we needed and so exciting.

Out of interest we also found in one of our clerestory window trenches in Car 57 a 1909 ticket to the Grand Prix at the Universelle Exposition in Paris, tied with a leather strap, its so exciting finding these artifacts and brings the whole project to life even more.
