Also, "Old Home Days" occurs during the following weekend at Phillips, where one of the activities includes nighttime train operations.

To anyone visiting the Maine two footers I would recommend reading the Maine Two Footer Tour on the Sandy River group's website. Having done it, I would say it is possible to see both Phillips and Alna in one day - but it is much better if you take at least two or three to do so. I wish I spent a couple days at WW&F.
