I'm glad to see rail transit making a comeback, but I wish the Californians had left this one alone; besides its historic value as a link to the old Key System, the new proposal has a number of sharp curves in its buried approach tracks that are, at least in my opinion, going to be a source of operational and maintenance headaches later on. This includes curved turnouts, always something a little fussier than normal to take care of.
