Members of the Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad took a recent trip to Montana to help with the collection of standard and narrow gauge equipment at the Alder Gulch Railroad in Montana. The arrangement was made in order to acquire some of the parts and equipment needed to restore freight cars back on the CO-NM railroad.

Recent posts at the NGDF have shown the extent of work in rebuilding track and moving equipment around. Apparently a standard gauge steam crane is available to a good museum, if one is interested.

A second FCTS work session in Montana is scheduled for the upcoming week.
