Seeing the WRM photos of 1005 inspired me to try to post this photo of 1758. It seems to have worked. I recall riding the 1005 on its trip into the shop in 2001 for the restoration. Very nice job!

Folks, there is a lot going on at the PTM. I think you folks should blow your horn a bit; with the new building extension nearing completion, car restorations under way with projects like this open car to talk about, how about some more information and pictures? I also note that the Trolley Display Building is spawning some cosmetic restoration work on the cars stored and or displayed in there. The story of an Interurban milk car that ended up as a subway garbage car is wonderful. I looked up the article in Street Railway Review and it has some great prictures for you to work with. I am not a member but I wish I was; so many museums and so few dollars! TEd Miles |
