3985 is alive !!!

Great great news that UP Challenger 3985 is back in steam today and ready for a test run tomorrow to Laramie. Its been 2 years since the last run, and watching and listening from Car57 in Cheyenne 3985 sounds beautiful.
Congratulations to the crew at the steam shops.

Does this mean she will be on the trip to Saint Louis? I was really looking forward to seeing 844. I have seen 3985 a few times but never 844. I guess I shouldn't complain. Its been 5 years since I have seen main line steam here.

3985 will be running on test tomorrow thursday between Cheyenne and Speer a few times due to the Laramie turning wye being out of action.

I heard when i was at the shop that 3985 was going to oregon, and 844 to MO. But all scheldule to change.
3985 still going to pull circus train or that just rumor?
