Great great news that UP Challenger 3985 is back in steam today and ready for a test run tomorrow to Laramie. Its been 2 years since the last run, and watching and listening from Car57 in Cheyenne 3985 sounds beautiful. Congratulations to the crew at the steam shops. Mike Pannell Car 57 Cheyenne |

Does this mean she will be on the trip to Saint Louis? I was really looking forward to seeing 844. I have seen 3985 a few times but never 844. I guess I shouldn't complain. Its been 5 years since I have seen main line steam here. |

3985 will be running on test tomorrow thursday between Cheyenne and Speer a few times due to the Laramie turning wye being out of action. Mike Pannell |

I heard when i was at the shop that 3985 was going to oregon, and 844 to MO. But all scheldule to change. 3985 still going to pull circus train or that just rumor? |
