This morning around 8 a.m. there was a WP&Y Diesel on a lowboy at the I-5 weigh station near DuPont, WA (mp 118). Sorry I wasn't able to snap a photo.

This unit appeared bright and shiny and freshly shopped and apparently was northbound (toward Tacoma and Seattle). I know in the past that several of these units were rebuilt at the firm in Tacoma that is now closed (CEEC?). So that means that this engine was rebuilt south of here? Portland, maybe?

Anyone here know anything about this?

Believe that one of the gentleman from CEECO went on to start a similar business also in WA, and that's where its coming from.
