About 5 years ago I was driving from Brampton to Guelph, and in either Acton or Rockwood I made a wrong turn and found a CNR Caboose! I've been trying to find it on Google Earth with no luck. I'm reasonably certain that it was right off hwy 7. Does anyone know anything about this caboose?

Hi, Joe:

I think I've found it.

Try Rockwood, at Catherine and Station Street... just south of the intersection on the east side, behind a tall hedge in a treed yard, in Google Street View it looks like you can see an orange shape with a CN lazy worm monogram... I couldn't see it in the aerial view but likely hidden by trees. Street View says it's 158 Catherine, but their street numbers are often incorrect. You'll see an RV for sale and a blue car. The van seems to be behind the blue car and the laundry.

This should be CN 78109, built in Transcona Shops in 7/1927. No trucks.

Yes, it's very close to highway 7.

Thanks!

I knew it was somewhere around there. Amazing you even found it at all.
