I just ran across a reference to this system, and am curious as to just what it consists of. Is there an online drawing or description of this system? (Bing wasn't much help, took me to GB, Australia and New Zealand-) I understand it's a modification of the 6-BL, designed to make it compatable with the 24-RL and 26L systems.

I have seen diagrams of a 6 system, modified with the old independant blocked off and replaced with either a 24 or 26 independent. This provides a self-lapping engine brake and also bailoff, through an added relay valve and actuating pipe (for MU). Is this 6-BLC, or, as I saw on a cab card years ago, "6 Modified"? (Wish I 'd taken a look at the brake stand back then, too-)

Again, just curious, trying to build my general knowledge of the various systems-
