Fire has destroyed five historic buildings at the ghost town of St. Elmo, Colorado. It is unclear if any were directly related to the Denver, South Park & Pacific RR. St. Elmo is located at the eastern approach to the long-abandoned Alpine Tunnel.

Some good ghost town photos and links here, including Como roundhouse and Ludlow, Colo., site of Rockefeller's infamous Ludlow Massacre of striking miners.
