I ran across an old report that stated the the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad had acquired Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade Railway 2-8-0 #25 from a park in Centralia, Washington where it had been displayed since the mid-1950's. When the wife and I visited the CCRR this past summer, we saw CC&C Mikado #15 parked outside their building, which was closed. Number 8, a 2-6-6-2T and some other equipment was outside and Consolidation #25 may have been inside the building. But when I checked their website, I saw no meniton of the 25 at all. Did it actually go to the CCRR? Thanks. Les |

The 25 did make it to the CCRA's headquarters in Chehalis. I haven't seen it since the move. I understand it went down I-5 from the park to the railroad. |

It's sitting in the very back of their shop building. I've talked with them about it, they want to eventually restore and run # 25, but I think it's in their way long-range plans. |

Aaron and p51 - Thanks for the information. Glad to hear that the Consolidation made it there and is protected from the elements inside their building. To bad there's not room for the 2-6-6-2T inside too. Les |
