Thought I would make a separate thread to point out that the diesel doing the work is historic in its own right. In July of 1941, the Chicago, Indianapolis & Louisville (Monon) placed an order for its first diesel-electric's and SW-1 number DS-50 was actually built and delivered in February of 1942, two months before three NW-2's arrived on the property. Thus DS-50 became the Monon's first diesel. The units 600 horsepower limited its assignments and in 1948, the unit was sold to a coal company. Many years later, it was discovered for sale and the purchaser found out that it was the Monon's first diesel. Moreover, by removing the coal companies paint, ITM found the original Monon black with white lettering still in place.

Thus the flick of an historic steamer being moved by a very historic diesel.
