The Oklahoma Railway Museum (ORM) leased a train for the day on Farmrail out of Clinton, Oklahoma. The railroad restored a CN Coach that was used on VIA and a BN Caboose. First passenger train north out Clinton on the old Frisco to Okeene(63 miles) in over 40 years. Great ride for 80 folks. For those traveling I-40 west through Oklahoma this summer, might want to check out the Farmrail operations in Clinton in Western Oklahoma. Headquarters on westside in ex-Santa Fe Depot and the engine maint.at the old Frisco Depot on eastside of town. Drake Rice, Sec, ORM. drakerr@telepath.com |
