The author, Mr. Ken Kraemer is a former D&H employee, I believe he worked as a dispatcher in SK Yard in Buffalo. I have always greatly admired his photography, my favorite shot being of the Amtrak turbotrain at night parked at Buffalo Central Terminal in 1979, shortly before the terminal closed for good. As I recall, he is also Railfan Magazine's first "cover contest" winner with the night shot of GTW 4070.
